well i did a water change today for the frist time on my 10gal hex i did about 15 to 20% change when i check my salt level it drop from 1.024 to 1.021 do i need to add more salt or thats ok

salt water going in needs to be the same and the water in the tank, also the same temp too. If every thing is looking ok, leave it alone, and bring the salinity back up very slowly with the next water changes.

A sudden change in salinity is not good. Just make sure the next water changes match your tank water. I would leave it alone for now. Just like golden said.

You should always check the specific gravity of your water change water before adding it to the tank.

As others have stated, sudden salinity changes are not good.

I agree if there are no signs of stress, I would just make sure your future water changes are at your target level. :)

The best way to gradually increase the salinity level is to use pre-mixed salt water instead of fresh when you do daily top offs. I hope you are using a refractometer.
