Water change simplicity

I'm building a saltwater mixing station and want to pump fresh salt water back into the sump.

My sump is 75 gallons and will hold about 63 gallons. The pump chamber will be pretty small, couple of gallons at most. I need to pump off about 36 gallons for a water change but I can't' because of the small pump chamber.

Any ideas how to make this work? What about a T in my drain line that goes to a drain?
Thanks

T off your return pump with a couple gate or ball valves. Turn off the return to the tank, and turn on the drain. Assuming your tank is drilled, the level shouldn't drop low enough to stop a siphon.

You could always place a pump (something small like an mj1200) in a larger section of your sump and plumb that to a drain.

I'm planning on using two pumps in the sump one as a return and one to feed a a manifold. Can I just put one pump in the refugium area to drive the manifold and drain line? I'm a little concerned with crud and algae plugging up that pump.
