Water Evaporation

Hey guys I have 40 gal breeder with 20 gal sump . Have screen cover on the DT and it seems like I evaporate 1-1.5 per day.... question is how much you do you guys evaporate daily with similar tank size

Same tank and sump. Similar amount and my top is open, but I don't have a fuge.

Depends on the ambient humidity.

Yes, I go through about 5 gallons a week. I did put a cover on my fuge and that seemed to help a little bit but not as much as I wanted. May even consider a partial cover on the top tank too at some point.

I have a 50 gallon, and I go through about a gallon a day.
