Water Mixing Station

See this at Home Depot and want to check has everyone build water mixing station with this kind of bin. Without the lid it can hold 30 gal. Can stackable as well.

I'd rather go with the brute unless you have a source for food grade bins I'd go that route

I prefer something vertically, rectangular so that can save some spaces. Any recommendation besides those brute cans?

They are both rubbermaid and look like similar build quality, so this might be ok. You'd just want to make sure it is food-safe and strong enough to hold water, which is much heavier than most other can uses.

Rubbermaid also makes square Brute cans so maybe that would work well for you.

Another reason most people get round cans is they are easier to mix and clean.

and also because you can add a dolly to them! For ease of moving the brutes around when filled

Yeah but the lady said NO bulky "œtrash" cans (2) in the garage. Want to order couple nice ones online but the shipping alone costs more than the containers.

I think I’ve seen at least one sw mixing station put together with black storage bins from Costco; myself, am running one as a temporary holding tank with just couple rocks in it and some gsp and palys.
The 27g bins with lid $7.99

You could put stickers on them to dress them up :)

Or build a wooden box around them.

And anyway I'm pretty sure anything you can use will either look like a trash can or septic system.

The problem with this and other trash bins is they are not designed to be filled with water, too much pressure that they really don't need to design for when the expected thing in them is recycled goods like paper & boxes. Brutes are built to be very rugged, plus the circular form of them distributes the pressure evenly when you put water in them.
