water movement and zoas

So i have a 24 Pod that has a zoa garden and 2 gorgonians. the Gorgs require high water flow and I like a higher water flow to keep the sandbed garbage free and control a possible cyano outbreak. is there such thing as too much flow?

currently running:
maxijet 1200: return on a hydor
maxijet 900: in display tank
epik300(150gph): for heat and top water movement

total gph in display tank is about 720 gph, is that too much? should I put the 900 on a timer to run every 3 minutes? Should I turn the 900 off at nights?

In my experience, most zoanthids thrive in high flow so I wouldn't be too concerned.
