Water Parimeters

In Deep Water

In Memoriam
I set up my 30 gallon on 3/11/07 with 35 lbs LR, 40lbs LS, and with the Bio-Wheel and Skimmer running. About 3 days later I added about 7lbs more LR that I bought from a diff LFS. Just yesterday I took my water in for testing and the results were as follow: Ammonia <.25, Nitrite <.20 and PH 7.8. What should I be doing right now to bring the levels back to normal. Im not planing on adding any livestock till this is done. Thanks for all the help.

I agree that your tank is just going through a normal cycle...let it ride. It will probably take a week or two at least.
And, although you didn't ask about them, I think the biowheels are unnecessary and may be counterproductive. Your live rock will provide all the bio-filtration (nitrogen processing) that you need, and you really don't want the bio wheels competing with the LR for the job. ;) Biowheels are great for a Fish Only tank with little or no live rock, but they don't help a reef tank much, and they often add to a build up of nitrates.
FWIW,

You can keep the powerfilter going; they're great for running poly/carbon when needed, but just ditch the wheels.
