Can someone recomend a good energy efficient external water pump for a 100 gal marine tank?

We'll need more information than that in order to give a good recommendation. What is your budget? What kind of flow rate are you shooting for? How many feet of head will it be working against? Are heat or noise a concern?

As a total shot in the dark, I'd recommend a Blueline NS-800.

Good questions ChemE. Budget is not a concern. Noise is a concern. Heat is a concern so I am looking for an external pump. I am working with 10 feet of head. I am not sure about the flow rate but I would like a strong flow rate.
