Watermelon chalice, original lineage...where can I get some?

Any ideas/leads? I wasn't sure if I should post this in this forum or in the 'for sale' one as a wanted post. I'm not sure what's accepted and what's not here since I haven't been around here on a regular basis in a while.

Ron Johncola of reef tec designs has the original mother colony that Steve Tyree got his watermelon frag from. I believe they have frags for sale most of the time. I imagine that would take care of lineage pretty well!

To be honest, the tyree alien eye watermelon chalice seems to be fairly common now. It's still a beautiful coral though!

To me.....if it matches tyree's description on reeffarmers, it might as well have the lineage. This coral has been passed around a bunch and lots of people are selling frags.

No disrespect to steve....but the worth is in the coral, not the guy that brought it to auction

Ron at Reeftec is the originator, and he and Eric from Fragfarmer just joined, so I bet you can get one from them. EyeCatchingCoral had a few nice frags of the Original Pink for sale, and has the Hybrid Watermelon too, very nice.
