Was wondering if any one has seen a Watermelon Monti cap before.
I have a piece of one it is quite amazing, though it is quite small.
The frag is definitely a cap and not the encrusting type.
The coral itself is has green/lime/yellow skin with bright red polyps.
If the coral grows into a large cap it would be an amazing piece.
The LFS employee I received it from says he spotted it on a mushroom rock and has never seen anything like it.
I will post some pics of the coral tonight.
If anyone out there has a coral like I have described, please post some pics and info.
