Watermelons and Radioactive Dragon Eyes?

Hello, I have a question for you RC'ers.

I always seem to see watermelon Zoo's and radioactive dragon eye Zoo's together? I bought a small frag of watermelon's, and it came with a few radioactive dragon eyes as well. Are they all originally the same morph of Zoo, but frequently change back and forth? Or am I just crazy?

As an example...

Don't know why, but you bring up a valid point. Not a big fan of the green RDEs. Not because they are unattractive, but just for the reason you stated. They are everywhere and seem to be attached to everything. Unfortunitely, these were one of the first Zoas I bought when I got into reefing. You know, start out of the cheap/common/hardy stuff while going through the learning curve. Damn things are prolific breeders/srpeaders and now have taken up too much tank realestate. Live and learn I guess.

I see them on the same rock all the time.
I have one now that has both zoanthid colors mixed together.
I doubt they change back and forth.

I happen to like them just because they grow great and are so much color.

I like them, even if I only have 4 polyps worth. It started as one polyp about a month ago, so I'm happy! Well, I'll see if I get more radioactive dragon eyes with other zoo frags I buy.

Thanks for answering guys

RDE's and Watermelons/Eagle Eyes are not the same zoa/ morphs of each other, they just happen to come from the same area and don't smother each other out... That is why they commonly come in together on wild collected rocks... :)
