Waterproof/weather proof camera ideas.

I am looking for a camera that can withstand the elements down here in Fl. Not a a major scuba diving camera, just for the boat, beach, rain etc.
The only one I can find is the Pentax Optio series W10, WP and WPi.
Olympus has some that are "weather resistant" but can not actual put them in the water like the Pentax.

Any one familar with these or have another suggestion?

i remember a while back that sony came out with a reg everyday hand held water proof camera. not sure if they still make it though.
