Watts for a sps

Hi I have a 70 gallon corner tank and would like to keep sps right now I have a 36 inche fixture putting out 234 watts the tank is 18 inches deep and would like to know if I can keep sps

I know don't have money for one but the light is the biggest ho I could put on then tank

I think you will be fine. A PAR meter would have been nice. Certainly at the top there should be enough light for many SPS. It is just difficult to think in watts per gallon since that is not meaningful.

what kind of light ? PC ? T5 HO ?

if it is 6 T5 HO, with 18" dept, you can stock SPS on the sand bed even.

It six t5 ho and my tank is a 70 corner so I could only get a 36 inch fixture so I got the biggest and the best
