I put one in my 120 and it works great, but it is very bulky and takes up a good amount of room in a 4ft tank IMO.

thats what I was going to say

Most corals love it, I have a mix of everything and havent had any problems and get good growth from most. Not sure if they are worth what they cost but definatly something different that works well.

I did not mod my overflows, but I would have had to and did not want to, so I sold my wavebox, however I wish I would of kept it.

Correct, I could only get a 1/2 wave with it and when I turned off my return pump I would get easily 1 1/4 wave. But reducing my pump or cutting my overflows was not an option.

every time people talk about wave boxes, I think of this tank...

I could see how overflows can keep a wave motion from cycling back and forth.
