I just cant seem to get the Tunze to do anything. Ive tryed a few diffrent things but none seem to cause the Tunze to react.
Any ideas

I did try and follow the wiki site but it didnt help

settings are ok

if you disconnect the tunze cable (only main power is connected) - does the pump run then?

The tunze pumps will run at 100% if they have no control signal at all (that's the Tunze design).

Another idea: Is it maybe a Tunze2 cable and you should adjust L4?

I unplugged the controller and it does run at full speed, I also noticed that when the Profilux is plugged in it will run at full speed but not pulse.

I moved it to L1/L2 and moved the lights to L3/L4 and changed it to min 3 volt and max 8 volt but it still will not pulse.
Any other suggestions?

Perfect!

I set the min to 0 and max to 100 and it works great now. I found my wavebox tuned to 2.0 seconds for the best wave on a 6 foot tank.

Thanks Matthias

I am thinking about buying a Wavebox without the controller to use my Profilux II Plus. Will the profilux control it like a regular tunze or will it be able to do the push and pull the wavebox is supposed to do? I am not familiar with the unit so I don't know if what I'm asking is achieved in the tunze wavebox controller or in the wavebox unit itself.

Thanks in advance!

to be honest: I think I don't understand the question

But this can be said in general:
All the speed control is made by the tunze wavebox controller, the wavebox only reacts.

ProfiLux has all the features of the wavebox controller plus some additions. Maybe you read the section "current pumps" in the manual - there you can get an idea of the manifold current simulation functions.

I installed a wavebox today and "borrowed" the setting other users have posted. But I feel it lack power, I thought this was supposed to move water from side to side...I will also check in the Tunze Forum.

Here are my settings...

Permanent
Voltage 3v low 8v high
0-100% power
3 second duration
Right handed wave short

I changed it to 2ss, thanks...

The factory information says: POWER CONSUMPTION in one cycle of 5W to 60W; about 30W on average.

If this is true... why are we using 3v minimum and 8v maximum? would that be too low and that is why I feel there is not enough power?
