I recently installed a wavebox + extension on my 600 gallon tank (96lx48wx30h) and I was not happy with the wave I was getting when I installed them side by side on one of the 48" ends. I decided to play around with the positioning so I moved the extension to the other end directly facing the main box. I am now getting a wave twice as big (approx. 1.5") and I am very pleased with the water movement.
