I bought a wavemaster pro and need to know what type and model powerheads and how many I should get to provide sufficeint flow through a 180 gallon. Will Seio powerheads or the Hydor Koralia powerhead work?

Nope, neither of those heads are recommended for a Wavemaster (on/off). They need something that ramps them up and down.

What may be good would be a few modded MaxiJets that are always on. Then put in a few regular MaxiJets on the wavemaker. Aim the regulars at the mods so that when they come on, the flows collide and create chaotic turbulence.

How about a few regular maxijets hooked to the wavemaster and two Hydor Koralia or SEIO pumps that run all the time.

Tunze, Hydor, or Seio. Any of the big boys will work well for you. You have a big tank so you might even look at a closed loop for big flow and using your Wavemaster to create the chaos.

What would be your suggestion on the closed loop? For instance, pump to use, where to place the pipe(s) that removes the water and how many areas of return? An pics of a closed loo you could show me?
