What books/websites do you guys find to have the most accurate information on fish/coral profiles? I have found a good deal of contradictions. What sites are the most accurate, and ae there any great books with many accurate profiles? Any help appreciated.

What contradictions are you reffering to for fish? Most sources commonly underlist the maxium size of fish and most authors who offer advise on the husbandry of fish, especially rarer models, have never actually kept the fish themselves.

Well LiveAquaria is pretty good about information. But, as Terra Ferma says most sources generally under size minimum tank size.

Scott Michael's books are very good

ehh, I like the Scott Michael books because they ahve AWESOME pics, but the information taken from them is kinda bland. It seems like he says every fish needs to be fed 3-4 times a day, and has an aquarium suitability of 3-4. And his minimum tanks iszes are WAY OFF in my opinion. Granted, he does have some insight on some fish (ie- doent ever eat prepared food, spawns like this, etc) but far and away, I think it is just a simplified publication of what can be found online with awesome pictures.

Just my opinion.

For accurate information on fish/coral profiles I like this site the best. Reading posts with people's experience along with trouble shooting is invaluable. For mature fish size and natural ecology information I like fishbase.org.
