Webcam with reefkeeper?

Why would you need to? How would the apex or reef keeper associate with a web cam? You can view the web can in you phone you don't need to tie it into a controller.

I can't speak for the ReefKeeper, as I have an Apex. However, keep in mind that while you may hear of people having webcams (actually IP cams) on their Apex, all this really means is that the Apex Dashboard website has the IP camera address linked to it so that the camera displays on the Dashboard page. The Apex itself isn't actually attached to the camera, nor does it give two flips about the camera. It's just handy to have the camera show on the same page as the Dashboard.

If DA doesn't have something like this, it's just as easy to setup an IP camera to be viewed in the browser or smart phone independently of the controller.

Thanks cordell thats about what if I was looking for. Its just a dashboard onthe apex.
Does any body know if reefkeeper as this option?

The myReef software for the RKE and RKL does not have anything that uses a camera source or a means to display the camera image. I just have my two webcams set up to view on reeftronics.net and it works great.

I think thats why more people go towards Apex, because everything is right in front of you, you dont need to go on other sites to look at your system and another for webcam. everything is somewhat linked together.
