weight of a 300g glass tank

I'm just curious if there is any formula to tell how much a tank weighs. I'm going to be getting a tank with half inch glass and the dimensions are 96x32x23 and it is eurobraced

Water is about 8 lbs a gallon, a tank is roughly 10 lbs per gallon as rule of thumb.

not sure on a formula. but dry i would say around 650lbs??? any one else. this is just me a 2 other guys thoughts that have moved one

One half inch glass weighs 6.7 pounds per square foot.

Im not an expert at this, but it looks like you need more bracing. Id reinforce with another 2x4 (at least) at each 6 current spots. But Im just paranoid.... I look at it like I wouldnt park my little car on there. Id be pretty sure of it collapsing, and my car is lighter than your tank, with my car being 2811 lbs

well i am using 2x8 crossbeams and 2x6 vertical beams. A talked to a veteran carpenter and apparently i over-built the stand
