Weird centipede invert

Any thoughts on this guy? Hard to see on the photo but he's got several sets of legs. He came out when dipping a coral on a small rock.

Yeah, my thought too. That's why he's in the jar. ;) My son loves the creepy crawlies which is why I was curious as to what it is. So far the prevailing theory is Larva of Unknown and Possibly Hostile Nature. . .

Not sure about it being larval, unless that rock came out of a freshwater stream. Definitely looks crustacean, with the segmentation and the tail. I'd suspect mantis shrimp, except that the eyes don't look quite right for that.

Thanks for the info, I will do some research on the carpellidae and anthurid. Despite what my son says I'm pretty sure it won't be going in the tank! ;)

Hmm... took another look at it.
There's eyballs and antennae on one end and a shrimp-tail thing on the other end. And I think maybe there's legs on the eyeball end?
I withdraw my assessment. I think it's just a really weird shrimp thing. I was seeing worm at first, but worms don't usually have visible eyeballs.

I've got these in my tank. I can't say anything definitive, but they seem pretty harmless from my experience.
