Weird fish habits

I keep finding my Striped Blenny in awkward positions when the lights are out and I think its dead. The other day it was upside down stuck to the Koralia. Another day it was stuck to the slots on the overflow. Today I took this pic of it upside down stuck to the glass.

Was it dropped on its head as a fry? Or is it going through its teenage growth phase?

He prefers to be called "special". He's fine when the lights are on.
