weird things happen with lunar phases

just checking if its just me or are others experiencing weird things when lunar phases are turned on in ecosmartlive...i also use a reeflink

im not talking about night mode...i expect that

but what I am noticing is that randomly during the day the radions go very bright or dark ...i don't have any clouds either.

i have turned off lunar phases cause this caused some of my corals to bleach.

i will continue to monitor if this happens outside of lunar phases being turned off.


one question with the reeflink and ecomartlive what is the normal operating status light led on the radions look like(the one by the 3 buttons on top of it)...should it be slow flash yellow/white ? or should it be solid blue

Fishie,

The Radions should have a solid blue button state. Additionally, it sounds as though the buttons need to be disabled on your Radions. I would recommend following the steps below:

1. Power down all Radions for 30 seconds
2. Power on All Radions
3. Connect via USB to a single Radion - If NOT using a ReefLink*
4. Open the Connection Manager - If NOT using a ReefLink*
5. Log in to EcoSmart Live using either Google Chrome or Safari as your web browser
6. Select the "Devices" tab
7. Select the "Gear" icon next to "Light 1"
8. Check the box to disable the Radion buttons
9. Repeat steps 7 & 8 for each Radion
10. Select the "Done" button to save changes
11. Once the page refreshes select the "Program Aquarium"

ecotech took care of this remotely in the morning...while i was driving in...and i came come to a functional light with the solid blue leds....

apparently it was dust causing the touch sensitive buttons to cause weird things randomly..which is why they disabled it.
