Weird white growth on lps

Ok so I'm pretty new to the hobbie. Got this guy about a week ago and he has been doing great as far as I can tell. But now he has this odd white growth or mass or whatever that almost looks like a jelly fish but it doesn't look like any invert or anything. I am wondering if he is injured or multiplying or eating maybe and if I need to dip him or something. Thanks y'all

Those appear to be the corals tentacles. Reaching for food. Have you ever looked at it early in the morning? I bet you would see the sweeper tentacles which are much much longer. (Edit) My bad I just glimpsed at the photo before, now I see what your talking about. My bad. Is it still there or was it just a secretion?

It looks to me like the slime they give off when touched, See if you can suck it off of there or blow it off with a turkey baster. I don't think it's anything to really worry about.

It also never hurts to do a dip in Revive!
