Hey guys,
It's been a while since I've been active. I have a 210 gallon tank that had an electrical fire about 2 years ago. It killed everything....or so I thought. I've kept the powerheads running in a dark tank for the past two years and considered breaking it down, but it is 210 gallons and that is not a quick and easy task! So, i decided to fire it back up. I replaced some lights and added some new ones. I cleaned the glass and fired up the pumps. Got some algae for the refugium and a new light. To my surprise 1 head of a duncan coral was still alive and is coming back! The tank is close enough to a window that gets a little indirect light, but I am amazed that it is that resilient. Anyway, I just added a few clownfish the other day and am so excited to be back. Going slow and will post some pictures of the rebuild.
BTW...first time here at reef central but it looks like a pretty active group.
