Welso Dying?

I bought a welso about a week ago. It ate well the second night. Then on the fourth night I fed it but had to keep my Sailfin and Lamarack Angel away as it took awhile to open all the way and take the shrimp portion that I gave it. Now it does not look like it is opening. It looks like it is shrunk to the skeletal frame with pail coloration. I checked and re-checked my water parameters and everything is good. My Alk was a little high but everything else is good. I even finally got my PH and PO4 to at desired parameters. What else can it be? If anyone knows please let me know?:angryfire:

he may just digesting his last meal. Mine will puff way up during the day to like a softball size that's when he's hungry but I distract the other fish with blender mush and it buys him time to eat

My desjadini sailfin has an appetite for my welso.....
Had to pull it and put in frag tank!

Maybe too much or too little light and flow? Where do you have it placed? Try moving it and see it that helps
