We've Hit the Mother Load!

We've had the new lavender tang in the QT tank for a couple of days. This morning I saw it nibbling on some small frags of green and pink star polyps. I can't wait for it to go to the display and start cleaning star polyps out of there! The only thing that could make this better is if it will finish off the anthelia too.

Congrats....one time I had Anthelia turn into a weed on me and it was a lot of work to get rid of it.

I know the feeling. I spent an hour one day cleaning it off rocks. Boy is that a stinky job. I did not get it all and it's back.

I had to switch tanks! Not really but that's when I was able to get rid of it. I gave any and all rocks with shrooms, xenia, and anthelia away. Now my buddy is beginning to hate them. It was kind of neat when I had it under control on my back glass but it doesn't stay that way.

You could rent thet tang out to people if it eats anthellia! You'd make a killing, as long as the fish survived...

Now if I could train it to eat aiptasia and majanos... That really would be the mother load.

I did everything right and it didn't matter. All my anthelia was on a rock that was an island in my sandbed away from my LR structure. It was neat there.

Then, right in front of my eyes, my hitchhiking red-eyed crab from heck came out and literally snipped the anthelia like a hedge right in front of my eyes and they all floated off in the current.

Obviously, they re-attached all over the place.
