What Agressive Fish for 30 Cube.

What are the dimensions?

A few options off the top of my head for a 30G would be:

Dwarf Lion
Frogfish
Toby Puffer (Valentini, Blue Spot, ect.)
Dwarf Eel

As aggressive as i can get in that small sized tank. Something along the line of a lionfish. And something that would be coral friendly.

I also have alot of rock in the tank, maybe 60 lbs. packed with corals.

Dwarf lions aren't actually that aggressive, if going by the actual definition. They just eat things they can swallow. Get a m/f pair of Pseudochromis steenei and that'd be as aggressive as you could get in a 30g.

Still, a dwarf could work if you wanted. They're beautiful fish.

ok if i did a dwarf lion, is there any other smaller fish i could keep with him? I'm fine with just the lion in the tank...

How about any inverts....like crabs?

put a small garabaldi damselfish in the tank...they are mean little buggers

Except that it doesn't stay small for long. Not a good fish for that tank.

Not only that, but Garibaldi damsels are a temperate water fish and require a chiller. They are found in the kelp beds in the Pacific, off the California coast. I believe they are also protected. And as the poster wrote, they get big.

FYI: http://www.wetwebmedia.com/garibald.htm

Sargassum angler would be fine, but it would have to be the only fish in the tank. They are a really attractive, hardy, economically priced angler. They get about 7-8 inches as adults, and have a voracious appetite. They will eat anything they can swallow, and will try to swallow fish bigger than they are.

They are reef safe, if you don't consider shrimps, crabs and fish part of the reef. :)

flame hawk would be a great size and you could put several other fish in there with itl. they aren't really all that aggressive- more comical than menacing.

Would the peacock mantis re-arrange my reef tank? I have my tank packed with corals. Lots of caves and stuff for hiding though.
