What am i looking at here?

Yes, fish were in DT.

I use HOB equipment. A reef octopus HOB skimmer, and a Marineland emperor filter(mostly for floss and carbon).

Im going to turn off the skimmer, and take carbon out of the emperor. Ill still leave the emperor running for good oxygen mix of the water.

So im assumeing run carbon in between treatments, and do a 20-25% WC and that will clean the prazi out of the tank.

Thanks guys. Got the Prazi ordered and will update after first treatment, or if any other issues arrive in the meantime.

Thanks so much!

Your success (and learning about stuff) is our pleasure.

Just wanted to update.

Unfortunately i lost all of my fish. Towards the end of treatment with prazi all fish began showing symptoms of Velvet. Within 48 hours all were deceased. Im not sure if the freshwater dips were prolonging the signs/symptoms, but up until the end of the first treatment of Prazi, all fish were eating good, and behavior was normal.

In Hindsight, i should have treated with copper first, but with the signs of flukes, and no visable signs of Velvet, i decided to start the less invasive Prazi treatment first.

I learned a valuable lesson here, and i am certainly discouraged, upset, and sad for the loss of the fish.

There is a bright lining here i believe, since while it is upsetting this happened so early in my reef keeping experience, it has inspired me to do things right from here on out.

Next step is fallow tank, and in the meantime setup of a QT/hospital rack system. I did set up a single QT tank as soon as this all began, but im going to take it a step farther and make sure i have a rack system setup for best chance of success going forward.

Thanks everyone for the advice and information. You guys were great.
