What anemone is best?

I just purchased a golden striped maroon clown and was wondering what anemone goes best with him/her?

BTA is the only anemone these clowns host in the wild.

Make sure you get the largest possible because maroon clowns really rough up on their anemones and if the anemones is to small, the clowns can kill it. The bigger the anemone the better.

I didn't even think of that. I had a guy who I'm planning on purchasing an anemone from that had a tiny one. The fact of the matter is it's still larger than the maroon specimen that I have. I hope it'll make it.

Don't rely on hope on this one.

Trust me, your maroon will literally love it to death. The rule is that the anemone has to be 3 times bigger in diamter than the clownfish. For maroons, I shoot for four times bigger just to be on the safe side. Please go with bigger BTA. It will make the difference and most likely save you from coming back on RC and asking why did my little BTA die?
