what are the chances of survival

hey everyone. i have a 90 gallon tank. chemisty is within tolerances.

right now i have a rbta and 2 e quads living happily in the tank, i was just offered a 12 inch green carpet.

the other nems are high up in the tank. i know the carpet likes the bottom / sand area.

i have heard of chemical warfare issues with this combo. any chance of this working, or will i have problems?

Do you mean an S. haddoni?

If so, I did not have good luck mixing an S. haddoni and E. quadricolor -- long story short, the S. haddoni wouldn't stay settled in until I removed the E. quadricolors; I ran carbon and did weekly water changes.

todd - making the assumption that it is S haddoni as it makes most logical sense considering the green carpet nem name i received.

sadly you have confirmed my fears and i will give it a shot but already have a back up tank just in case.
