What are the chances?

My squamosa had not looked good the last couple of days. It is about 10"-12" from "stem to stern". Today I found our CBB snacking on the white "gills" inside, which probably explains its decline. Since it was far easier to remove the clam than the CBB (450 gallon tank) I pulled the clam out and placed it in my sump. The sump currently has only pc lighting. I have read that pc's, although not the best lighting, will be ok.
Does anyone have some suggestions on how to care for this clam? I don't want to loose it, we have had it for about 4 years.

can you post pic's of the clam? Pc lighting isn't the greatest but should work short term.

thanks for the reply. I'm totally bummed, my response was to little, to late. The clam is no more.
