What are these little creatures in my nursing tank?

I have 2 fire shrimps. They had eggs. I managed to hatch the eggs in the 10 gal nursing tank. I fed the little baby fire shrimp frozen baby brine shrimp.
All of my fire shrimp babies died. Some molted to second stage they died too.
However now in my tank there are these creatures in the picture. They are dancing in the water and I'm puzzled by what they are. Sorry my camera doesnt capture better images. These creatures have elongated bodies so I thought that they cant be brine shrimp. But I dont know maybe they are. Does anyone can guess what they are? Are they brine shrimp that came alive after being frozen?

Thank you guys.

They are some type of copepod. Most likely from some dormant eggs mixed in the frozen brine. If the frozen brine had adult brine in it, they may have been carrying eggs. Eggs could easily have been hatched in your tank even after being frozen. They are wonderful food for most salt and fresh water creatures. You can feed them finely crushed flakes or "greenwater" or artemia (SP?) which is a micro-algea...
Look up copepods here on RC. Good luck.

thanks

thanks

wow thanks Riffraffreef.
That was so helpful. Maybe next time i have baby fire shrimp they can eat these
since they populated the nursing tank very well.
Thanks again.
