What are these "tendons" on my Frogspawn?

Hey guys,

I'm not getting any traction on the LPS forum, but you guys may have better recommendations and experience.

I occasionally notice these lighter looking "tendons" areas on the branches of my Frogspawns. Hammers don't do this, just my Frogspawns. Have you guys seen this before and what does it mean?

My tank is a 36 bowfront. Has been up and running for about 2 years. I have a bunch of LPS corals and some soft corals too.

Light is a T5/LED hybrid light. All parameters look fine and nothing has really changed recently. These corals have done this before once, but went back to normal after a few weeks.

Mine have had them before as well. I'm not entirely sure what they are or what it means, but my frogspawn is still doing good. Might be the tissues stretching from growth or a precursor to them splitting as mine have split 2 times and is currently in progress of splitting from 4 to 8 heads. I'd be interested to know as well. But, at a minimum, I don't think it's a bad sign.

Hi, I have an octospawn that I've noticed these "tendon" things on before. Sorry that I can't enlighten you on what it is... but it seems pretty happy in my tank and is even growing, sticking, and eating well so I guess it can't be so bad...

I also have a orange octospawn that has them. He is fat and healthy so I don't think it's anything bad. Probably as mentioned it's when they stretch or expand

Alright. I think we have consensus. Thank you guys for at least sharing that I am not alone with this one.
