Hello,

Does anyone know what those are and treatment?

Thanks!

Those are mesenterial filaments...its guts basically. It may mean the coral is stressed. IS the coral really that white, or is it the photo? It looks bleached. What are your water parameters?

sorry its the scrappy photo took early in the morning. The base is light brown and the top is neon green with purple tips. I have it for close to 6 months and it starts having short tentacles and those white things in the last two weeks. Water parameters took this morning.
PH 8.0
Amonia 0
Nitrite 0
Nitrate 5
Cal 420.
salinity 1.025

I think Nitrate is a bit off because of junks in the back chamber of the IM AIO. Ordered a really small pump and will try to get them out.

So those are not worms or some sort of parasites?

Nope... MechEng99 is right. Are there any other corals nearby, or upstream in the current flow from the elegance? It may just be "smelling" a neighbor and gearing up for war. Sometimes my corals seem to do that just before a growth spurt - it's like they're making sure the neighborhood is cleared out for them!

What else you got in the tank? Mine did the same, probably worse even and I'm blaming my shrimp whom I caught jumping on it and poking at it...
