i thoughth dragon eyes were green skirts WITH green mouths....i am getting frustrated with zoas...i have searched on zoaid and cant find 3 of my colonies and am sure i will get flamed if i post them here...almost sick of zoas

good luck, they are pretty no matter what they are and i would love to have them in my tank

ah true...in my sleep deprived state i thought he wrote that :)
thanks!

What would you say are green skirt with whitish middle? I cant find it on zoaid...and yes i should get a picture but my camera is outta commision (being cleaned) right now... any ideas??

We need to have a zoa conferance. Get about a 1000 pics and a hundred zoa keepers and lock ourselves in a room. We can't come out till we have it all sorted out.

i know the tank is a bit small i am going to do somthing about it
there is 168gal in there its a 3ft cube

jasutton,

Green skirt w/green mouth are Radioactive Dragon Eye

I believe the radioactive dragon eyes have a yellow skirt.

so what would you do is it fair to keep them in a 6x2x2 like a lot of people do even though i have more water

thanks darryl

Ive got a yellow in my 58 gallon. Is my tank to small for him?Ive had him over a year with no problems.I really hate when the tang police hijack a thread.Let me ask you this how long does it take for a tang to reach full size?mine has grown bout 2 to 3 inches in over a year.my eyes might be bad but it looked like they were about the size of the wrass.

i also see the concern here but in my defence they have been happy for years and still look happy in the new tank
another point is that the aquascaping of the tank allows them to swim endlessly without having to go from one side turn around and go back which is the case in most tanks

jjmcat my tank is almost 3 times bigger than yours so why would it be OK for one in yours and not 3 in my tank i am not having a go at anyone just trying to get the facts as some people say its OK for them but others don't

thanks Darryl
