That is an aiptasia there is a thread further down on how to get rid them even of it is in your sump eventually will end up in your display.

Yea thats all true but they are real easy to keep and they help maintain good water quality.

No just kiddin. Kill em. there real bad. in a tank. But they can be good to clean water if done right.

seriously i saw this video where some guy had an aptasia farm in his sump claiming it to be benificial.... IMO ther bad just get a couple of peppermint shrimp to take care of it

well there is a sump design that uses them to polish the water and they are excellent at that but the sump design is very specific and made to prevent them from getting into the main display
