I'm sorry to be ignorant but what are zooxanthellae and how do I get it in my tank?

zooxanthellae - the algae that live symbiotically with corals. They're what feed the coral, and make it possible for the coral to grow + build reefs.

You want some in your tank? Buy some coral .
