What backpacks/daypacks do you use

I'm just looking into getting a backpack to carry my camera lenses and laptop. There are so many too choose from on B&H I cant decide, so what pack do you currently use or have used and what do you like or dislike about it?

What lenses and what size laptop? Also, is that all you want to carry? What about misc. items like a change of clothes, or lunch, or a tripod, or a bottle of water, or anything else? Is this for hiking? For snowboarding? For traveling/sightseeing? I've got about 5 different backpacks and each has its own purpose.

I just picked up the tamrac Aero Speed 85. I LOVE it! It has a quick access zipper flap on the side and plenty of room to store the camera WITH a 70-200 2.8 IS ATTACHED! :D Only downfalls I can see is the laptop storage space is a LITTLE tight. Although I WAS able to zip it up with my hp 17" notebook, I felt like I was forcing it to the point I was going to break it. Also, as far as I know there is nowhere to attach a tripod. There is a nice little spot for all the extras like a sack lunch or whatever up top. The best part is, it looks "cool" unlike a lot of the backpacks I see out there. :bum: *Not that that is important ;)

What I would like to fit inside it would be 4 lenses the biggest being a 75-300, but I do plan on getting a 100-400 in the next two weeks so that would have to fit also, Canon t1i, my Dell 15" laptop, tripod, flash, maybe a lunch for the day. I also see that some packs can hold a bladder bag for water instead of carrying a water bottle that seems like a pretty cool extra to have. And this is basically just going to be used for day trips nothing overnight or too long.

I have a Lowepro CompuDaypack, holds my 17" laptop, my D40, and 4 lenses including my 70-300. Also Has a nice little pouch for my mp3, nice organization inside with 2 waterproof zippered pouches. I have been able to put a change of clothes in mine also. It is super comfortable to wear even though fully loaded it's heavy. I've never had an aching back from it, I took it on a cruise with me and wore it for 6+ hours a day and was fine. And also easy to get through airline security, some friends had a different bag and had security issues, not being able to see through all the way, mine flew through no problem.

I've had a Lowepro Computrekker for around four years and it's held up great. In the camera compartment it has no problem carrying a 5D Mk II, 70-200 f/2.8L IS, 85 f/1.8, 24-70 f/2.8L, 580EX, 430EX and three Pocket Wizards plus miscellaneous memory cards, cables, cleaning supplies, extra batteries etc. It has a large pocket on the outside that I've used for all sorts of things - clamps, umbrellas (Westcott that fold down small), clothes, snacks, etc. The laptop compartment holds up to a 15" laptop.

I like it a lot, but it does get heavy if it's fully loaded.

One note, the water bottle holder is sold separately.

Here's the link at B&H. http://www.bhphotovideo.com/c/product/485414-REG/Lowepro__CompuTrekker_AW_Backpack.html *edit, I just noticed this is now discontinued. Sorry, but I'm sure they have something equivalent available.

:D As if you don't have enough suggestions Thinktank is an awesome brand as well. I don't have one of their packs yet but I do have one of their belts.

Lowepro Computrekker

+2 on that. It held a 50d with 100-400 attached, 10-22mm, 24-105mm, 40d, 1.4tc, 2.0tc and a ton of odds and ends... It was a great bag and VERY comfortable when hiking. Right now I use pelican cases for everything but need to get another bag. It would be interesting to see what you choose... Jeff
