What bulb?

Hey guys, I want to switch to a 14k 150w HQI bulb. The current bulb I have isn't very blue at all, and I was wondering what brand has a really nice blue but with a 14k temp?? I've been hearing a bit about the Phoenix bulbs, let me know your advice. Thanks!

I have 2 - Hamilton 150W 14K and they are really good. For my PC's, I use 2x96W combo bulbs on my 72 rr bowfront. I have tried cheaper bulbs, but they just don't look the same. Thanks, Steve

Yes. They are not a deep blue like you may see with a 20K. I like 14K much better than the 10K, because at 10K it is too white for my taste.

I'm taging along. I'm in the boat. I have 10K 150W MH Coralife now and whant to switch to a 14K when it is time to change the bulbs. Not sure of the way to go for the my 2X96W PC. Thinging 50/50.

Yeah, I'm wondering if I could get a nice blue light with a 14k bulb, or if I'll have to use supplemental lighting in order to get the blue hue.
