What causes this on my montiporas?

I have 2 montis. 1 green and 1 red. The red one got paled out a bit from my old tanks lighting I think and when I moved it to my new tank in October, it has stayed pale, maybe colored up a little, but the new growth is much more vibrant. I added a green monti which was bothered by a flame angel and browned out a bit, but the same thing is happening where the new growth is more colorful but the brown original part remains. Is this caused by something else or will this eventually color up? It's been quite a while. It's not like it's just a week so I don't know what to expect.

What are your tank parameters?

SG 1.026
Alk- hangs around 8
Calc 420-440
Mag- 1300-1350
Nitrate never been detected
Phos - stays around 1-5 ppb BUT I have had hair algae popping up recently so I'm skeptical of this number
Temp stays around 77-79

What type of light do you have. Your parameters look spot on and if they're stable they don't seem to be your problem.

I'm running the Kessil ap700. My first tank was up for about a year then tore down to start my current setup which was started in October.
Even though some of the Rock was used I used a good amount of new dead rock and all new live sand so I consider the setup a little over 5 months old.

Looks fine to me, sometimes large Monti colonies take a good bit of time to fully recover from a move to a new placement. Once it starts growing from all sides again real well it should look like it used to and colors will be bolder in the middle. I don't see much wrong with them. Make sure potassium and magnesium are stable and good with a decent amount of nutrients are going in and out and it should help. If the tank is underfed with low nutrients and a high powered led light that won't help it gain bold rich color, most likely it will stay on the paper side.
