What could go into this tank

I have a 29 that i might want to make a sea horse or pipefish tank. I was wondering what types could go in to it.

The dementions are,
Height: 19 inches
Width: 30 inches
Depth: 12 inches

Is this a good size for any?

Any medium sized seahorses (reidi, erectus, or kuda more options if you have a chiller) would be fine.

If you have a lid there are also several pipes that could work.

IME you can do two pairs of seahores given that you have good filtration and limited tankmates.

I agree with pledo that with EXCELLENT filtration (including a large sump) and no fish tankmates, that you could squeeze two pairs of seahorses in a 29, but for most people I would only recommend 1 pair, especially if you don't have experience with the bioload and nitrate problems that seahorses present. His suggestions on species are good ones.
Or, you could go with pipefish, but I would not put both seahorses and pipefish, just one or the other.

One more Q. What is good to feed them? I can hatch some brine if i need to but is there any way to get them to eat frozen or do they only eat live?

Thanks for any info!

CB will eat frozen mysis shrimp.

Sometimes TR will eat mysis, sometimes they need live.

WC will need live for sure.

TR and WC can often be trained to frozen, but it takes time. Better and cheaper not to mention safer IME to go with a real aquacultured CB seahorses like the ones found at seahorsesource.com or dracomarine.org
