What distance do you keep LED bulbs from macro algae

I have 2 100 Watt CREE LED bulbs 5500k, a 100 watt cfl and 24Watt red/blue led grow bulb growing grape caulerpa in a bucket scrubber. (11X9 Screen) The cfl and grow led bulbs are at top pointing down toward the screen. I have one 5500k LED pointing directly centered at the screen about 4" away. When I harvest the screen its about 4" thick and gets close to the LED. I use a plastic knife it cuts like butter. The problem is after I harvest a brown slime algae starts covering the cut macro especially where the LED bulb is centered. My question is are my LED bulbs to close to the screen how far away should they be and do I adjust the distance as the macro grows? I use to have thick hair algae growing on the screen. It was harvest weekly however now since this macro has completely outgrew that hair algae I harvest every 2 to 3 weeks when it gets thick. It grows very well at bottom under 5" water and on screen so submerged or not makes no difference in growth. I want to maximize more nutrient exporting any suggestions?
