What do i need to keep a clam?

Hello i currently have a 55g tank that has beenset up for around 3 months. Right now there are a few SPS frags in the tank. i have a 250w MH in the center of the tank with 2 110w VHOs also. I was wondering if i can keep a clam in this tank? If so what kinds? What should i know about clams before buying them. Thanks
