What do you feed a Yellow Polyps?

I was reading that some people just let photosynthesis do it's thing and others would feed them, what do they feed them?

Just picked a colony up today.

IME, they'll eat everything you can throw at them, especially the meaty foods. I never did feed mine directly though, they pretty much got whatever they could get their hands on.

same here mine eat everything, my colony is about a 8" circle. make sure you isolate them they are invasive, mines on the sand.

you really dont have to spot feed those guys they seem to thrive off of what they catch in the water column. Be carefully because they can become a nuisance and take over your tank in no time kind of like zenia,gsp,palys and shrooms.

I have them sitting on top of another rock that I had recently scrubbed and put in the tank. So if I connect them to other rocks, they will spawn on anything connecting and take the tank over?

I have never spot feed mine at all. They seem to take off all on their own. And the extras have been kalked in my tank.
