What does everyone feed their corals

Just looking for some ideas...as of right now I feed reef nutrition phyto feast twice a week and fuel by aquavitro once a week...

Oyster feast and have been using Red Sea's reef energy A & B since I got it free. I do like elo's amino acid that I have used in the past.

Ive heard alot about Oyster Feast and I like reef nutrition...when my phyto feast is gone im thinking of switching to OF...I use hatch baby brine shrimp alot to feed to my cichlid fry...thinking of trying that one day..

Inokea I hardly feed my damsels maybe once every other day...my oeacock mantis shrimp doesnt let them stay long in my tank

I recently switched over to a homemade food recipe I made up.. I don't target feed so whatever is floating by and pooped out by the fish is the main course.

With my recent home made recipe I kinda processed it too long so while the fish get a lot of the ingredients the coral get the smoothie with it.. I get outrageous sweepers on all my lps right after I feed and I notice my sps close up so not sure if they are eating or just disturbed by the small pieces hitting the polyps.. I'm about a month into it and I've noticed some great results.. Think this is the way for my tanks future..

It's crazy the amount of live seafood you can find at the Asian market lol.. I got a year or twos worth of food for less than $50 and I know it's fresh and exactly what's in it.. I even found what looks to be mysis (frozen) a lb block for under 5 bucks..

I feed my LPS PEmysis and they get fish poop for dessert. I will also go thru a couple bottles of OF a year. They dont get it all the time and when I run out they dont get it until I make it back to the store and remember to pick some up.

Reef nutrition oyster feast, phyto feast, and reef cleaners filter feeder food (like the powder coral frenzy).

Dose vitamin c if that's considered food.

Another oyster feast feeder...when my phyto feast is gone I think im going to oick up some oyster feast...how does the vitamin c dosing do for you?

My homemade recipe is whatever I found lol.. Scallops, clam, oysters, sea bass, mysis, selcon, krill, prawns, nori , a little vit c powder, frozen rotifiers, some tiny fish I didn't even know what they were, cyclopeze and a few other things I can't remember.. Used a food processor and some distilled water to lighten it up.. Also threw in some baby brine at the end.. Anything I could get live I did and I also made a small bottle of pureed live oyster/clam mix that I feed maybe once a week.. I used some tiny party ice cubes for that the rest is frozen in vac sealed flats..

I wish I would have done it sooner honestly..

Sounds good. I'll have to give it a try when my packages of 'stuff' run out.

And then there's always the fish poop chaser! :)

Wow im impressed I really want to try that...

The first rule of making your own food...

If using a blender from the kitchen, make sure you clean it really well after use or else there could be hell to pay! :)

I can bring you some up if your interested? Not sure how long it will stay frozen but it should be good to go.. Let me know it's no problem.. I have a few more 8oz small baggies of it to give out .

Can bring up the 2 I have if someone else wants to try it out. .

I'll try some if you have extra. I was just looking at the fresh sea food today at the store and thinking about making my own food.
