What does stringy poop mean?

Stringy and white normally means internal parasites... a treatment with Prazipro is a good first start.

If it is just stringy and not white, you might just try switching the diet up a little and see if it goes away.

If you can get it into QT and out of your DT, try prazipro or metronidazole. I use metro as my first treatment with a new fish. Seems to work wonders and also seems to make fish eat that don't want to eat.

Q: "What does stringy poop mean?"

A: More fiber needed? That's just a guess. Try some trail mix. ;)

I hope your question has nothing to do with the person in your avatar by the way.

Its poop isn't white, so it doesn't have any internal parasites. But for some odd reason, my other fish(which eat the same thing) don't have stringy poop, just the Flame Angelfish and I've had him for 6 months. Also, the flame angelfish is a little pig. lol
