My little 74 Nova Hatchback has never lost a race to a mustang that wasn't suckin a bottle.

Bowties belong on little boys.
Like the one in your avatar. J/K:D

For a bowtie, your Nova looks pretty good.

Mine should be easy. Name is Jason so short for jay and when I was in orlando I was 24. Of course since I don't ever age I'm still 24 right? :) I'm now 30.

And I personally don't like american cars either. The vette is nice but the quality they (american cars)have come out with is still too poor along with the recalls. The mustang everyone and their brother have. There is a new muscle car coming out that is nice and no it is not the camaro! I personally only own Honda's now. I'm on my fourth with zero issues yet.

1st - Honda 84 accord - my highschool car.
2nd - Honda 97 civic - now sold.
3rd - Honda 00 prelude - very fun car and I love driving it. Bought it 1 year old and the previous owner added alot of mods to it. Tough car to find according to the dealerships.
4th - Honda 07 pilot - bought last november. Drives oh so nice and nice and roomy. Kids love it along with the 13" dvd screen :)

Next car will be a new sports car again. However, the prelude will never be sold since it is the last model before it was discontinued. You don't see many of them around.

I think a lot of cars in general nowadays copy each other too much. There may be a lot of mustangs out there, true, but at least they don't look like every single other car.

From a slight distance I cannot tell a toyota, honda, or mazda (or any other coupe shaped cars) apart. I have to actually see the little insignia on it to really be sure. Some more obvious than others but I can tell whats what if you go back into the 60s and earlier models..

If I was a car designer I'd get ticked off Joe Ford or Jack Chevy was making a car that looked like mine.. In anything but cars its called copyright law :)

So you have never owned an American made car before?
But you comment on what crap they are???
WOW.
While I agree ALL car makers are doing is selling a car that will last the life of your lease, not only the American made are crap.
I would rather buy a car from a maker that doesn't sell cars, motorcycles, lawnmowers, weedeaters, edgers, and so on.
I prefer a company that sticks to one thing.
Just my opinion.
Although my Honda powered lawnmower kicks but.

So what is this new muscle car coming out?
Please don't say it is made by Honda.:D

"The mustang everyone and their brother have. "
Like there are just a few Hondas on the road. LOL

Sorry to get a little O/T here Seth.

No, it is an american car. I have to look up the name because I completely forgot. It looks pretty nice though and it's pretty damn fast. I don't think a car manufacturer other then american could pull off a muscle car. It just wouldn't be write. I did have a 81 chevy truck that would just not die :) That was my true first vehicle. I will admit trucks back then were built to last. That machine is still kicking today to the person we sold it to.

I base my opinions on personal family experience, coworkers who have owned them, and a few other places like consumer reports.

Everyone owns a civic too. I'm just saying you see a ton of mustangs out there. I know living in orlando and here in leesburg, I'd see maybe one prelude a week and I haven't seen one in leesburg here in the last 6 months. Not that it matters, but I like having a car that isn't everywhere you look.

Probably me just being picky :)

Edit: looked it up. Dodge Challenger. Looks like a pretty sweet ride. Gotta see how that joker does.

I am pretty sure that ben&bobbie have a classic too. Think it was a 66.

and then there is a user name to discuss....lets say that I am kinda a scifi and car fan.

mfp4073 was mad maxs yellow interceptor and badge number from mad max 1.

which then he "trades" for one of the coolest cars in movie history (could be on the same level as Steve Mcqueens 68 mustang fastback)

Yes the Challenger does look promising, but we all know they will come out with a "base" model, and then they will be everywhere, like the Charger. The Charger was a promising car, until the produced the "base" models, and now they are everywhere. At least everywhere around here. LOL.
Not bashing Hondas at all, they seem to run forever.
Glad that you didn't take this as a bashing, and replied like you did.:D
Everyone will always disagree with what is the "best" car out there.

Sorry Seth, we have your post way off topic.:D
I started a new thread to try and get this one back on topic.

sooner or later yoll coma around and realize that Camaros are the way to go.......... (ok im putting on my armor and running away now:P)

LOL, Now thats Funny! But I agree, much rather drive a Camaro then a Mustang anyday. For some reason they just aren't comfortable for me. Now I prefer my old Z's

As far as my nic! For the first half of my life I spent almost as much time in the water as I did out, someone in school gave me the name.

No cars on my planet at all, only water!

Finally someone agrees with me on that issue. Does it upset anyone else that they make a 18K car look almost the same as a 35K+? I just think it's messed up that I go buy a GT mustang or a cobra and then someone can go buy the 18K model. I just think it takes some of the "bang" out of it. When I see a new corvette, I think, nice, that baby cost some cash. Imagine if there was a 18K model? I wouldn't even look twice anymore. JMO though.
