What eats Ricordea?

I went away for a week and a few days after geting back, I noticed they were gone. The tank parameters were about normal. The ph was a little low 8.0. The tank has a total water volume of about 225g. There was a little agae build up on the glass and the skimmer was just about full.

Ive had the polyps for about 5 years and grew from 5 to about 50. There is only a small piece of torn tissue left from the whole colony????????????

Any suggestions????? (No new fish)

I did have a couplke of peppermint shrimps but they have been in there for a few years... If they are even still alive?

I forgot about the worm thing... Ill check tonight, but I figured I would notice the population dwindle. It disappeared! I do have a bunch of assorted shrooms that seem to be unaffected... I guess its a matter of taste!

Mine disappeared overnite too...it's a matter of where the worm is. It took me three nights of viewing to find mine.....they are never out in the open...even at night.

How many polyps did it eat???? I had a very large colony that was gone in a week without warning..

I also have an open brain on the sand, a long tentacle, and some fuzzy mushrooms that were untouched.

I had a colony of about 50 blue tonga mushrooms disappear in one night......and a solid patch of ricordea that was about 3 inches square also disappear in one night. They seem to perfer soft corals...I never have had an lps hit....just ricodea, mushrooms, zoos, and leathers.
