What fish is this and is it reef safe? The misses is going through pics she was looking at while the tanks where cycling so now the fun begins. I did kinda cheat using some nice fish instead damsels to cycle anyway

blotched anthias. they are a great reef fish but a little pricey

Cool fish, about $300 a piece. They do get quite large as I recall.

Of course its a $300 fish, she never picks anything cheap

i would wait for that fish. work on getting the tank more established.

if it's done cycling, try some cheaper fish with personality. or visible fish.
