Too much light? Favites are low light corals..

Do you have any ornamental shrimp in the tank? I just had a small Favites frag get stripped down to the bone overnight by a Peppermint shrimp.

I got one from a fellow reefer quitin the hobby. I have LED's, he did not. I have a 3' deep tank he did not. With my kessils at 70% it was not happy. Parts would turn like yours. I kept rotating the rock and it took about a month for it to come back out of shock.
Not sure if it was too much light, too little light or just different spectrums.
Maybe your long spined urchin there decided to take a few samples.
